Pli-Dek System – Inclement Weather

The Pli-Dek® System for Inclement Weather (IW) meets specific, mandatory requirements, required for any areas that are vulnerable to snow, salt, humidity and rainfall. Click here to read our technical bulletin for specific weather criteria and mandatory system requirements.

The Pli-Dek IW System is a 1-hour, Class “A” Fire Rated waterproof deck coating for plywood, OSB or other approved substrates that offers high durability and low maintenance for exterior use. This system is designed for high traffic pedestrian balconies, roof decks, walkways and stairs where waterproofing and durability are essential. The Pli-Dek IW System varies in details and flashings from the standard Pli-Dek System as well as unique architectural details specified for inclement weather conditions. Refer to the Technical Bulletin above and IW specifications for details.
